A house, whose initial concept was initiated by one designer, went through numerous iterations and we finally came up with this understated Bali style villa perched on modified sloping terrain.

 

The site offered unrelenting views of the Sahyadri hills and the
backdrop itself was a historic hill fort of the Marathas. The `pendopo’ styled skyline very well resonates to these surroundings.

Rustic and muted earthy material palettes for the interiors agree to the warmth of the villa and inarguably connect to the exterior.
