ABHIMANSHREE, PUNE
RUSTIC HOUSE
RESDIENTIAL INTERIOR
When certain chemistries match, experiments can turn out to be good. In the middle of an up-market urban neighborhood of Pune, to think of the most basics of the stone- yellow kota- for the flooring was a bold and collective move. This stone paved way for the design theme that followed. The slab plaster in places was scraped out to expose the raw concrete, which was then brushed over with jute scrubs dipped in white paint. Raw cement boards used as a wall panel, strips of leftover wood in the bedroom ceiling, exposed ply as a screen partition well compliment the theme.
